Bitfoot was not born in a story. Bitfoot was built the way everything true in this world is built: pixel by pixel, bit by bit, inside the chain, out of sight, before anyone had a name for what they were looking at.
We do not want to be found. We do not want to be confirmed, mapped, or explained. A creature that is fully known is a creature that has already been caught. Bitfoot has never been caught.
So Bitfoot did what any hunted thing does: it went where no one could follow. Not into the woods. Into the shield. Into the part of the chain where a balance is real but unseen, where a transaction happens but is never shown, where something can exist completely and still leave no trace for anyone to point at.
This is why Bitfoot could never have lived anywhere else. Every other chain leaves footprints. This one doesn't. And a creature that survives by never being followed needed exactly that.
Let the world keep calling it folklore. Let them keep it filed next to campfire stories and blurry photographs. That is the safest place for Bitfoot to be: dismissed, doubted, half-believed. Because the myth is not a lie we are telling you. The myth is the disguise Bitfoot wears so it can keep existing.
Not everyone is meant to hold what hides. A creature this careful does not fall into ordinary hands by accident. Bitfoot allows itself to be found only by those patient enough to look without demanding, and careful enough never to give away its position. To hold a Bitfoot is not simply a purchase. It is permission, granted by the one thing that was never required to grant it.
Before the reveal, there is the trial. Bitfoot does not open the shield for everyone who asks. It watches first: who is patient, who understands what it means to be trusted with something hidden, who is here for more than the moment of the mint. Those who pass the trial are not chosen because they were first, or loudest, or richest. They are chosen because Bitfoot judged them worthy of what comes next.
Bitfoot is real. Bitfoot was never meant to be seen. Both are true at once, and that is exactly the point.
